Great Starting Points on Mythology

Use our Online Catalog to access our print collection.

·        The best way to begin your search is to figure out keywords that may lead you to the specific information you need.  In the online catalog, use “Mythology” and press the Subject key to get the best results.

·        Look in the stacks for books cataloged under 290 to 292 for Mythology.  Don’t forget to check the reference aisle for these same call numbers beginning with R or RS or RB.

·        Check the general encyclopedias (i.e. World Book, Compton’s, and others) by first using the index (usually found in the last volume).
