The President's Message to the Membership
Welcome to a new year at Rich Central High School, and welcome to the PTSO. We look forward to a very productive year and know that by working together, we can achieve that goal. As you may know, PTSO is the Parent-Teacher-Student Organization and our primary focus is to bring awareness to the school community and to serve our families to the best of our abilities. To this end, all fundraisers held during the year, as well as the membership fees are for the purpose of awarding scholarships to our graduating seniors. This past year we gave out seven scholarships, and hope to increase that number this year.
The PTSO meets on the second Tuesday of each month, at 7:00pm. All are welcome to attend. Fundraisers each year include selling concessions at the Honey Bowl game and sponsoring the Student-Faculty basketball game. We also plan to re-implement the Cultural Connection and to once again make a substantial donation of materials to our school’s media center. We need your attendance at meetings and your time to make these events and projects successful.
Thank you for joining and here’s to a wonderful school year.
