My role as a Scholarship Coach is to help students and parents in their search for scholarship dollars.

We all have heard the stories about money being “out there.” The question is how do you gain access to it.  I provide students with the strategies and skills they need in order to be in the best position to obtain these scholarships.

I am currently available to Rich Central students on Thursdays after school in the Media Center from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. or by appointment.

Students may also contact me by email at bhigh@rich227.org, by phone at 679-5716(office), or at 708-932-0074(cell). I am available to meet with students on Tuesdays from 11:00-4:00pm in Room 151.  Don’t delay, call today!

SECME was founded in 1975 as the Southeast Consortium for Minorities in Engineering. SECME 's(Southeast Consortium for Minorities in Engineering) goal is to increase the pool of underrepresented students who will be prepared to enter and complete studies in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), thus creating more diverse and globally competitive work force.  The mission of the SECME club is to expose students to the various fields of engineering.  Students will have the opportunity to go on exciting field trips and participate in mousetrap and robotic competitions.  Seniors involved in the SECME club are eligible for scholarships through Exxon Mobile.

If you are interested in joining the SECME club, contact me or the school sponsor Mr. Alvin Willis at awillis@rich227.org.
